Many of our parents and students may not realise that English classes have been taking place in the IRC for two hours after school every Wednesday. Two of the IRC staff have completed the ITA Certificate 4 TESOL course in Teaching Conversational English and have been providing lessons for Koreans who are in Australia doing Discipleship training with the Evangelical Sisterhood of Mary at Canaan, Cobbity. It has been a great time filled with interesting cultural exchanges as well as plenty of English conversation! The last lesson was an Australian Christmas feast and at the end we were treated to a song performed in Korean just for us.
